Allianz Life Insurance celebrates its high-achieving agents

‘In 2022, around 1,000 of our agents qualified for the Star Master Award by producing more than RM100,000 Annualised First Year Premium,’ said Allianz Life Insurance CEO Charles Ong.

ALLIANZ Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd hosted its annual Agency Awards Nite on May 18 at the Genting International Convention Centre in Genting Highlands.

The event saw more than 1,000 attendees from various agencies across Malaysia and 488 awards given away to its high achievers.

Among the accolades presented, Allianz Malaysia proudly acknowledged an impressive number of 330 recipients for Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) in 2022.

Of the 330 MDRT, five achieved Top of the Table recognition while 10 agents bagged the Court of the Table awards.

Allianz Life chief executive officer Charles Ong expressed his pride at the company’s accomplishments: “In 2022, around 1,000 of our agents qualified for the Star Master Award by producing more than RM100,000 Annualised First Year Premium (AFYP).“This remarkable achievement corresponds to about 25% of our total agency force, meaning that one out four agents produced RM100,000 AFYPF in 2022.”

Part of the remarkable achievements of Allianz agents was attributed to Allianz Malaysia’s belief that the power of investing in people is the ultimate key to success.

Allianz Malaysia is recognised for its strong commitment in continuously developing the calibre of its team and agency, which includes providing them with the necessary support and resources to excel.

At the forefront of this commitment is the Allianz C.E.O. Programme – a 24-month programme designed to fast-track the growth of agents, build and maintain a highly productive agency force, and groom future industry leaders.

Allianz Malaysia aims to witness great achievements in the coming years as a result of the personal career development and financial support initiatives through the Allianz C.E.O. Programme.

The Agency Awards Nite also highlighted Allianz’ collaboration with INSEAD – a top-ranking business school – to further enhance the capabilities of the company’s agency force.

The collaboration with INSEAD has been integrated into the C.E.O. Programme to make it one of the most lucrative agency building programmes.

Co-created by Allianz and INSEAD, this exclusive programme will deepen agents’ professionalism, set new industry standards, and shape the future of insurance professionals.

“Investing in our people supports their career growth and ensures their success,” said Ong.

“The result is a formidable team that is ready to navigate any terrain, ensure better productivity and successfully run a business. This is why we are very excited with the launch of the INSEAD Agency Training Programme.”
