First group of Taman Putra Perdana property owners finally get house titles

THE first group of property owners in Taman Putra Perdana in Sepang, Selangor who have been waiting for their individual titles for nearly two decades received theirs today (Aug 1).

Caretaker Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari handed the documents to 601 homeowners at an event at Dewan Komuniti Putra Perdana.

He said there were about 9,000 property owners in a similar predicament, which the state wanted to settle by early next year.

“Due to irresponsible property developers, the cost of obtaining the individual titles that was supposed to be borne by the developer has been transferred to the owners.

“It is not fair for the house owners. As such, the state has decided to absorb that cost.

“There are a few plots involved, some are more complicated, but we have found a solution for all.

“We will settle it one by one,” he said.
