Elderly residents of home treated to day of pampering


A resident of Grace Home in Klang getting a manicure.

THIRTY elderly residents from Grace Home, Klang, enjoyed some special attention, thanks to Great Vision Charity Association (GVCA.

Volunteers organised a pampering session led by a beauty and management diploma student Qistina Jazleen from the association’s Didik-Kasih Educare Programme.

The day began with an exercise session, tailored to promote physical well-being and uplift the spirits of the elderly.

Following the workout which received an enthusiastic response, it was time for the residents to sit back and relax.

Volunteers gave manicures and drew henna designs on the hands of the residents.

They also held a hairstyling session.

GVCA representative Yuen Juin Hoe said. “We are honoured to have the opportunity to spend time with the residents of Grace Home.

“We aim to bring joy to underprivileged individuals.”

A Grace Home caretaker said they were grateful for the heartwarming visit.
