State polls: Jalan Batang Kali-Genting Highlands route to open on polling day

THE Jalan Batang Kali-Genting Highlands (Route 66) will be opened from 7am to 7pm on polling day (Aug 12) for the state election.

The Hulu Selangor Public Works Department (PWD) said the road will be opened to light vehicles such as motorcycles, cars, small MPV and four-wheel drive (4WD) to allow voters from Genting Highlands to cast their votes.

In a statement, PWD said road users are advised to follow the proper signboards and be wary of the road works as this involved repairing the Batang Kali landslide hillslope area.
