Aviation show offers best in aerospace industry

THE third edition of the Selangor Aviation Show 2023 (SAS 2023) which will be held at the Skypark Regional Aviation Centre in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam from Sept 7 to 9, will once again bring together global industry players to explore the latest technological advancements.

Organised by Invest Selangor and hosted by Selangor government, the aviation show is meant to serve as a lively networking platform specifically aimed at business and general aviation within the aerospace industry.

At a press conference in Shah Alam to announce the SAS 2023, Invest Selangor Bhd said trade visitors will be granted exclusive access on the first two days of the event, while on the third day, it will be open to the public.

The press conference was attended by Invest Selangor Bhd chief executive officer Datuk Hasan Azhari Idris and Darul Ehsan Facilities Management Sdn Bhd corporate communication manager Ahmad Sayutzi Bashiron and Selangor Darul Ehsan Aerospace Industry Coordination Office senior director Jamie Haniff Ramlee.

Invest Selangor, in a statement, said SAS 2023 embraced the theme “The Only Business and General Aviation Show in the Region” and offered a unique experience for all participants and at the same time aimed to boost trade.

The aviation show revolves around the showcasing of the latest advancements and products within these sectors, with an unwavering focus on excellence, innovation and growth.

SAS 2023 will accommodate 117 exhibitors from six countries, offering attendees the opportunity to exhibit both on the tarmac and indoor exhibition displays.

Event exhibits will provide insights into cutting-edge technologies, services and industry trends.

Over 20,000 people are expected to participate throughout the three-day event.

Invest Selangor added that in response to this increased interest, registered public visitors can now take part in the exclusive Friday afternoon session and select their preferred time slot for Saturday sessions.

It added that as a premier event, SAS 2023 reflected the commitment of Invest Selangor and the Selangor state government to promote growth and excellence in the aerospace sector.
