THE inaugural Beyond Contemporary Art Penang (BCAP) 2023 International Art Summit & Expo will take place from Nov 9 to 12.
BCAP will feature an exhibition, auction and off-site arts and tourism activities.
Supported by the state government and Penang exco office for tourism and creative economy, the four-day event will take place at The Wembley, a St Giles Hotel, at Magazine Road, George Town.
Encompassing over 25,000sq ft, the event is targeted at art enthusiasts, gallery owners and collectors.
The exhibition will feature 400 artworks while the art summit will include speakers from Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and the Philippines.
They will engage in talks, discussions and panels, focusing on creativity, business and sustainability.
BCAP will culminate in a gala dinner, recognising art players and contributors.
