The Ashrae Run returns with a Halloween theme. The Ashrae Run returns with a Halloween theme.

THIS Halloween, running enthusiasts can run around the quieter corners of the Universiti Malaya campus along its so-called spookiest path to raise funds for charity.

The Ashrae Run is an annual running event held in Universiti Malaya (UM), Kuala Lumpur.

The Halloween-themed run is organised by Ashrae UM student chapter, a non-profit educational student association.

Participants can run at their own pace in this fun run, while dressed up in their best Halloween costumes.

In line with the Halloween theme, there will be carnival games, food trucks, performances and other entertainment throughout the night.

Part of the funds collected will be donated to House of Love, an orphanage in Klang.

The rest of the proceeds will be used to sponsor the educational activities of Ashrae UM, to nurture future talents in the heating, ventilating and air-conditioning industries, as well as strengthen student-industry relationships.

The Oct 28 run will take place from 6pm to 11pm at Dataran Dewan Tunku Canselor, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur.
