UEM Sunrise Bhd has unveiled Residensi ZIG as the second phase of its flagship township Kiara Bay in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.

UEM Sunrise chief marketing officer Kenny Wong said: “We are excited to unveil the second phase of Kiara Bay, Residensi ZIG, a residence conceptualised to bring us back to our roots and demonstrate that nature can co-exist with our homes.

“As Residensi ZIG is our biophilic-themed residence, it focuses on creating an environment where the building occupants can reconnect and immerse themselves with nature to improve their physical and mental well-being.”

Residensi ZIG is a 1.38ha leasehold residence with a total of 1,126 units within three zones, with Zone A and Zone C up to 56 levels and Zone B up to 50 levels.

Each floor comes with a total of 26 units with two sets of lifts, comprising a range of semi-D and bungalow units.

The larger units are located in the premium zone and require a special key card for entry.

The residence has five main built-up sizes to cater to different generational needs, from studio units to four-bedroom apartments, starting from a compact 450sq ft unit to a spacious 1,198sq ft unit that consists of a four-bed, three-bathroom layout with a private terrace and garden.

The units have a starting price of RM340,888 (RM575 per sq ft).

Selected units also have removable walls to allow residents to design enclosable kitchens, demonstrating adaptive and flexible living to suit diverse lifestyles and needs.

Some units also come with urban yards and balconies, allowing residents to fully utilise part of the balcony for laundry.

The balconies also have breathtaking views of the Kepong neighbourhood and surrounding lake.

Residents may even be able to catch a glimpse of Genting Highlands from afar.

The development’s green areas are not just provided at ground and podium level but also mid-level (levels 35 and 37) and up to the roof.

Emulating the rainforest, the different layers or green areas provide shelter for different living organisms, embodying the development’s aim to be one with nature.

Residensi ZIG offers a range of essential amenities designed to cater to everyone, featuring a central park, 50m lap pool, indoor gym, yoga decks, exercise stations, hammock corner, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, as well as a variety of beautifully landscaped gardens.

The development is easily accessible via highways such as Middle Ring Road 2, Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway, Damansara-Puchong Expressway and Selayang-Kepong Highway.

With an estimated gross development value of RM646.2mil, Residensi ZIG is scheduled to be completed in Q4 of 2027.

Spanning 29.4ha, Kiara Bay is UEM Sunrise’s flagship township in Kepong and has 15 plots, roads, green pathways and open spaces.

Considering post-pandemic market sentiments, the replanning of Kiara Bay will consist of 13 plots of developable land and is currently under review by the relevant authorities.
