New hall for longhouse folk


RESIDENTS of longhouses in Tamin and Selangau will soon be able to hold activities when a new multipurpose hall is completed.

Tamin assemblyman Christopher Gira Sambang said that the RM350,000 hall is under the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) approved by the Sarawak Government.

The implementing agency is the Sibu Division Public Works Department.
