Afternoon tea and goodies in spirit of Pink October

Lemon Garden 2Go is presenting pink goodies throughout October.

SHANGRI-LA Kuala Lumpur is participating in Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October to support breast cancer research and those affected by the disease.

Its culinary team has crafted a sensory culinary experience and dining offers in the spirit of Pink October

The hotel will be donating 5% of every purchase of its afternoon tea set and pink goodies to Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA).

Served at the Lobby Lounge, the delectable Pink Afternoon Tea set promises a symphony of flavours that will delight taste buds.

Guests will enjoy delicate smoked trout on a beetroot- infused cheese baguette, luxurious waffle with Avruga caviar, and crispy mushroom and beetroot arancini balls.

On the sweet side, savour a sublime raspberry eclair, velvety cheesecake bar, zesty pineapple coconut lemon tart, fruity apricot-infused chocolate cake and classic macarons with a hint of pink.

The scones come in two varieties – traditional and pink cranberry.

The latter adds delightful tartness to balance the sweetness of the jam and clotted cream traditionally served with scones.

The Pink Afternoon Tea is priced at RM148nett per set, and if a glass of Chandon Garden Spritz is included, it costs RM248nett per set.

It is served daily until Oct 31, from 3pm to 6pm.

Lemon Garden 2Go is presenting an exclusive range of pink goodies throughout October.

These sweet delights, including pastries, chocolates and cakes, are perfect for sharing with friends and family.

The pink-themed menu includes Dried Strawberry Oatmeal Bars, Pink Shortbread Cookies, Pink Flamingo Marble Cheesecake, Vegan Chocolate Tablets and a selection of pralines in a gift box.

Prices start from RM18nett. To purchase, visit https:// boutique.shangri-la.com/index.php

The hotel’s efforts to support BCWA also include a Pink Charity Walk event on Oct 15 from 7am.

Proceeds from the 5km walk, which comes with a RM80 per person registration fee, will go towards supporting BCWA’s work.

There will also be complimentary clinical mobile breast examinations aboard BCWA’s Murni truck on Oct 15, from 7am to noon, at the hotel’s lower lobby foyer.
