Engaging activities for Subang Jaya folk on Car-Free Day

THE Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) organised the 14th edition of Subang Jaya Car-Free Day at Jalan SS 16/1, just opposite the Aeon Big Subang Jaya and Subang Parade shopping malls.

The Car-Free Day had over 20 engaging activities and offered something for everyone, from leisurely cycling to more heart pounding competitions such as aerobics, flying fox and abseiling.

There were also health checkups and community-driven initiatives.

The highlight of the day for cycling enthusiasts was the Selangor Criterium Series X Subang Jaya 2023 Championship that was initiated by Selangor Raja Muda Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

The thrilling road bike racing series was specially intended for Selangor’s cycling champions.

Visitors also had the opportunity to explore exhibitions by external agencies and participate in a lucky draw with attractive giveaways.

In addition to promoting exciting activities and a healthy and active lifestyle, MBSJ’s Car-Free Day also highlighted the importance of environmental conservation.
