Air Selangor says water supply fully restored, netizens say 'not really, no'

WATER supply for areas affected by works at the Sungai Langat Water Treatment Plant on Oct 10 has been fully restored as of 6am Friday (Oct 13), says Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor).

However, at 1pm, visitors to Air Selangor’s social media pages are still reporting that supply has either yet to be restored or has only returned intermittently in various parts of the Klang Valley.

On Thursday (Oct 12), Air Selangor revised its original schedule for the full restoration of supply from noon on Oct 12 to 6am today, owing to an unavoidable on-site technical issue at the water treatment plant.

Air Selangor has advised consumers whose supply has yet to be restored to lodge a complaint with its Help Centre at https://crisportal.airselangor.com/support

It also advised those whose supply was back to leave their taps running for 10 to 15 minutes until the water ran clear.

Consumers can also obtain the latest information from the Air Selangor application, social media pages or by calling 15300.
