Mah Sing Group Bhd has unveiled its newest sales gallery for its mixed development project M Minori in Johor Baru.
Mah Sing’s Property Subsidiaries chief executive officer Benjamin Ong Chin Yee said M Minori comprised three blocks of serviced suites with a gross development value (GDV) of approximately RM469mil.
With M Minori’s affordable starting price of RM288,000, its Tower A with 252 units of non-bumiputra lots was fully sold over one weekend after it was introduced in October, he added.
“Due to encouraging response, Tower B is now open for registration.
“We bought the land in 2022 and expect the project to be fully completed within the next two years.
“The three blocks consist of 1,526 residential units, with 1-bedroom, 1+1 bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom units, with built-ups ranging from 570sq ft to 880 sq ft,” he said at the launch of M Minori Sales Gallery in Wisma Mah Sing, Taman Austin Perdana.
Among those who attended were Tebrau MP Jimmy Puah Wee Tse and Johor Baru mayor Datuk Mohd Noorazam Osman.
Ong said M Minori included two retail lots to offer convenience to residents.
He said Johor Baru was an important market for Mah Sing since the developer’s first township here in 2000, and the company had been operating in Johor Baru for 23 years.
“As such, we are actively looking to buy more landbank in Johor, especially for townships, industrial projects and M series projects.
“We are very optimistic about the Johor property market because of Mah Sing’s strong brand recognition here, spillover demand from Singapore and upcoming infrastructure projects such as the Johor Baru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS), which will further boost economic activities in Johor Baru.
“In fact, M Minori will provide shuttle bus services from M Minori to the Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) complex and Bukit Chagar RTS Station,” he said.
Ong said Mah Sing was confident its M Series would suit the southern market.
Inspired by the Japanese Wabi-sabi concept, the show units at the new M Minori sales gallery will give homebuyers a better understanding of the development’s design concept.
M Minori has a GreenRe Bronze certification and is equipped with green features such as EV charging stations, rainwater harvesting, automated waste collection system and biodegradable building materials.
