TOY shops are always a wonderland filled with endless possibilities for adventure and exploration.
From action figures and intricate puzzles to stuffed animals, these magical emporiums captivate the imagination of children and adults alike.
Danny Lau Peng Siew, who owns one such shop in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, said Windancer stocked more than 1,000 toys.
“We have a wide array of toys, from remote control cars to dinosaur figurines and dolls.
“There are also educational games such as puzzles, mini musical equipment and board games,” he told StarMetro.
His shop, which has been operating for more than a decade, sells party items too, such as balloons, candles and kites.
He said children were not the only ones who find excitement in toys, as his customers often included adults.
“Some grown-ups find meaning and joy in the toys too.”
A former photographer, Lau said he decided to open a toy shop to bring to others the joys he found in play during his childhood.
“When I was little, my parents could not afford toys so I had to make my own and share with my siblings.
“Today, I feel happy seeing my customers buy toys for their children,” he added.
