MOST winners of the “Buy CUCKOO Win Condo” contest were left in disbelief, describing their unexpected triumph as a delightful windfall.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would win a condominium just by buying a water purifier,” said retiree Leong Sit Lan, who was one of the condo winners in the contest organised by Malaysia’s leading Healthy Home Creator, CUCKOO International (MAL) Sdn Bhd (CUCKOO International).

In a surprising turn of events, Leong, 66, expressed disbelief upon receiving notification that she had emerged as the winner of a condominium in the contest.

“After all, I never had such luck and I have never won any prizes in my entire life. I’m thrilled beyond words to win something this big,” Leong added.

Pleasant surprise

Such were the sentiments shared by other winners who also walked away with windfall prizes from the contest.

One of the Proton Saga winners, design and architecture lecturer Noranita Mansor also highlighted, “I couldn’t believe it when I was told I was a winner of the Proton Saga prize.

“It was only when I saw Nabil and Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza on the live stream calling out my name that I told my husband, and we shouted together in joy.”

CUCKOO International founder and chief executive officer Hoe Kian Choon said: “As a Healthy Home Creator, we’re constantly thinking of ways to inspire Malaysians to adopt a healthier living.

“Apart from constant innovation, this contest is a way that we think could help motivate Malaysians to take a step forward towards transforming their living spaces to one that is healthier, through solutions that have been integrated with wellness.”

At a recent prizegiving ceremony, some winners stated that the news about the contest drove them to purchase a Healthy Home Creator innovation in hopes of winning the contest prizes.

Another condo winner, Lau Hui Hua, was one such lucky customer who had purchased several CUCKOO products after seeing news about the contest.

The responses conveyed by the winners further reflect the success of the ongoing contest.

Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback, the contest has been extended until Dec 31, featuring an additional RM3mil worth of attractive prizes.

The rewards include 90 cash prizes of RM1,500 each exclusively for existing customers (an increase from the previous RM1,000), three units each of Proton Saga, TESLA Model 3 and EXSIM D’Terra Residences serviced apartment.

Those interested in participating can still do so by purchasing and installing an eligible CUCKOO product within the remaining month of the contest period.

However, time is running out, so act quickly.

#SAMASAMAHealthier empowerment

CUCKOO International has been constant in its commitment to go Beyond Standards in helping Malaysians better integrate wellness into their homes.

The Healthy Home Creator has also intensified its commitment to innovation this year.

This includes introducing various products, such as the CUCKOO King Top 2 water purifier, CUCKOO Grande water purifier, CUCKOO U Model air purifier, and the latest launch in November, the CUCKOO i Model Air Purifier.

The company has partnered with Ogawa Malaysia to develop and launch its inaugural line of massage chairs this year, expanding its initiatives into the home living and wellness market segment.

Its commitment for innovation and focus on healthier living helped it clinch the distinguished 2023 Malaysia Home Water Purifier Company of the Year Award for the third consecutive year at the 2023 Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards.

It was the company’s seventh consecutive year win under the water purifier and filter industry category.

With such a favourable trajectory, the Healthy Home Creator foresees a positive year-end, reaching its double-digit growth target and sustaining a record-breaking RM1bil in revenue for the fourth year running.
