IN SHARING the joy of Christmas, Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) extended donations to three charity homes under its corporate social responsibility programme called Sesama Mara.

Air Selangor donated kitchen items, food and household essentials as well as offered plumbing assistance to Lighthouse Children Welfare Home Association, Praise Emmanuel Children’s Home and Overcomer Care Centre, all located in Selangor.

A team of “Hydro Heroes” volunteers, comprising 17 Air Selangor employees, also took part in cleaning the premises of the Lighthouse Children Welfare Home Association and organised fun activities with the children.

Under its Sesama Mara programme, Air Selangor also distributed its Box of Hope food baskets to the underprivileged. To date, 4,975 Box of Hope boxes have been distributed to B40 families around Selangor and Kuala Lumpur since the initiative was introduced on June 30, 2020.

Air Selangor expressed hope that the assistance would bring joy while also strengthen relationships among the local community, residents’ associations, local authorities and non-governmental organisations.

Contributions for the Box of Hope initiative can be done through physical purchases at five Village Grocer stores.

These stores are located at Tamarind Square Cyberjaya, MyTown Shopping Centre Cheras, 1 Mont Kiara, Central i-City Shah Alam and Melawati Mall Ampang.

In addition, Air Selangor has also introduced a digital version of the Box of Hope initiative to allow the public to make digital contributions via www.airselangor.com/boxofhope/
