Water feature in city centre

The Lake Symphony fountain at KLCC Park,

NO VISIT to Suria KLCC in the heart of Kuala Lumpur is complete without a short stroll at KLCC Park.

The man-made lake outside spans 10,000sq ft, and features Lake Symphony, the iconic fountain.

Thousands of city folk and tourists flock to the area each day, hoping to capture the display from 7.30pm to 10pm daily.

The fountain display usually runs for about 30 minutes, where the water jets would shoot as high as 42m.

There are 150 programmed animations accompanied by music with a 30-minute interval between shows.

Smaller water fountains located in the park are also popular.

The backdrop of Petronas Twin Towers, one of the city’s iconic attractions, only adds to the charm.

On Dec 31, more visitors are anticipated in the area to welcome 2024.

Earlier in the week, workers were spotted doing maintenance at the lake and water fountains to ensure they are in tip-top condition to usher in the new year.
