The lobby of Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur City Centre harmonises modern design with functionality and tropical rainforest-inspired elements.

IHG Hotels and Resorts opened its first Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kuala Lumpur in partnership with Yuk Tung Properties.

The newly built 320-room Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur City Centre is located in Jalan Yap Kwan Seng.

The Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts group has more than 400 hotels in major cities and resort locations in 65 countries.

The new hotel was designed by architect consultant Zone Architect while the interior design was done by ID consultant GA Group.

Its design encapsulates the bustling energy of the city and tranquillity of Malaysia’s tropical rainforests.

Each element contributes to an immersive experience, creating a symphony of nature and elegance.

The modern rooms and suites, ranging from 387.5 to 1,571sq ft, offer a versatile experience with distinct zones between work and relaxation.

RhymBa Lobby Lounge and Bar elevates the traditional lounge experience by blending co-working functionality with leisure, offering solo pods and huddle stations for quick meetings or focused individual work.

Nest@13 at Level 13 is a dedicated co-working lounge, providing a stimulating environment equipped with modern amenities, ample workspace options and a private meeting room.

Merchants All-Day Dining invites guests on a global culinary journey in a vibrant and stylish setting.

The restaurant’s interior, featuring communal tables, open kitchens and decor, evoke the vibes of a bustling marketplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy their meals.

The hotel offers 12,000sq ft of space for meetings and events, including a grand ballroom.

Guests can unwind at the rooftop infinity pool, offering breathtaking city skyline views.

The hotel will introduce signature suites, an executive lounge and a speciality French brasserie called Le Midi.

Hotel general manager Kuljit Singh said, “Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur City Centre is an immersive haven that offers versatile spaces for a blended travel experience.”
