Flyover closed for cleaning tomorrow

THE flyover along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah in Penang will be closed tomorrow from 8am to 1pm.

Penang Public Works Department (JKR) said the flyover would be closed for half a day for cleaning operations.

Penang Island City Council staff members will be carrying out work on the flyover.

“Safety signage, flag guards and traffic detour notices will be installed at the site to guide road users.

“They can use the road under the flyover as an alternative route.

“We caution motorists to follow all the safety signs and plan their journey ahead of time,” the city council said in a statement.
