KUALA LUMPUR stakeholders can view and give their feedback on the Kuala Lumpur Local Plan 2040 (KLLP2040) draft, starting tomorrow (Jan 31).
The plan can be viewed at Menara DBKL 1 at Jalan Raja Laut and Menara DBKL 3 at Jalan Raja Abdullah, for a month until March 1.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa said public hearing sessions would be held afterwards to address any concerns raised during the objection period.
“If necessary we can extend the objection period up to three months.
“We hope to have the plan gazetted by the first quarter of 2025,” she said during the launch of the draft plan at Institut Latihan DBKL in Cheras on Tuesday (Jan 30).
Also present was Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Kamarulzaman Mat Salleh.
There will also be a roadshow at the 11 parliamentary constituencies where the public can view the plan.
The plan is also expected to be available online for viewing and feedback at https://ppkl.dbkl.gov.my.
The local plan outlines the proposed developments for specific sites in the city and is one of two components of Kuala Lumpur City Plan 2040, together with the Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 2040 (KLSP2040).
