Star Social Impact Grant (SSIG) under Star Foundation invites change-makers including non-governmental organisations and social enterprises to apply for grants.

In its fourth year, SSIG is committed to supporting impact-driven and sustainable programmes to improve local communities and safeguard the environment.

It focuses on five core areas, namely community development, education, infrastructure, environmental protection and health.

Successful applicants will be awarded up to RM50,000 per project.

Over the past three years, the foundation (a charitable arm of Star Media Group) has contributed RM580,000 in grants under SSIG.

Applications for the SSIG programme are now open from today (Feb 19) to March 31.
