Beachside buffet of local flavours in Sepang

Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort offers a buffet experience celebrating the rich heritage of local recipes.

A buffet featuring dishes made with recipes from the Sepang community is available at a local resort off the Selangor coast.

Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort is showcasing local flavours through its “Sajian Warisan Ibunda” Ramadan buffet.

The resort’s culinary team has also included dishes cooked according to family recipes.

These include Sup Gearbox Power Abang Isa, Lemang Istimewa Pak Lang Bukit Bangkong, Bubur Lambuk Air Jernih, Laman Sate Mak Mariny, Bakaran Si Tampok Manggis, Kambing Golek 18 Rempah, Legendary Gorengan, Dusun Sunset and Manisan Cik Raiha.

Each stall highlights culinary traditions through a wide variety of savoury dishes such as satay, ikan bakar and asam laksa.

There are also sweet options such as ais batu campur and local fruits.

As part of the resort’s initiative to collaborate with the community of Sepang, there are stalls that offer various kuih prepared by locals from around the area.

Guests can also enjoy the soothing melodies of a ghazal band as they dine against the beautiful backdrop of the sea.

Families with children can look forward to movie screenings and a bouncy castle, aimed at providing entertainment for younger guests.

Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort’s Ramadan menu is available until April 7.

It is priced at RM188 per adult and RM90 per child.
