THE sweltering heat has become increasingly unbearable with rising temperatures and the sun relentlessly beating down on Klang Valley.

It is a common sight to see umbrellas being launched open as soon as people step outdoors, with many taking precautions against the scorching rays to avoid getting sunburned.

From carrying water bottles to indulging in refreshing ice-cream and coconut water, people are finding their own ways to cool down and stay hydrated.

Naturally, business is brisk for stalls selling icy cold drinks.

Even animals at the zoo are seeking reprieve from the sun by dipping in the pool to escape the heat.

At home, families would reach for the remote control to switch on the air-conditioner to cool their living space.

On weekends, families are also spending their time frolicking at water theme parks.
