IN an effort to give back to the community, Malaysia’s leading credit reporting agency CTOS Digital Bhd has donated RM30,000 to a primary school in Ampang, Selangor.

Sekolah Kebangsaan Tasek Permai assistant headmistress Fauzalina Ahman received the donation which will be used to support 100 underprivileged students.

She said the donation exemplified the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment.

CTOS group CEO Erick Hamburger said giving back to the community was something the company took seriously and there was nothing more important than the education of the next generation.

“I hope we can play some small part in helping pupils of SK Tasek Permai fulfil their potential,” he said during CTOS recent Raya Open House in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur.

Hamburger also expressed gratitude for the company’s 2023 revenue and profit growth, which he attributed to the support from clients and business partners.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our clients for embracing and utilising our services, and to our associate companies which made valuable contributions to our success,” he said.

Hamburger proudly announced the company’s 4-star rating on FTSE4Good Index Series 2024, recognising its position among Malaysia’s top 25 listed companies for its strong environment, social and governance (ESG) practices.

“We are delighted by this inclusion as it recognises our ongoing efforts to operate our business sustainably and ethically.

“We are simultaneously increasing returns and value for our investors,” he said.
