MAH Sing secured all three Readers’ Choice Awards at the StarProperty Real Estate Developer Awards 2024.

They were Most Preferred Developer, Most Heart-Warming CSR Initiative and Newsmaker of the Year.

The group also won the All-Stars Award for Best Performing Developers of 2023 – Top 10 Listed Companies for the seventh consecutive year.

In addition, its M Nova won Starter Home Award for Best Primary Home Development – High Rise, Within Greater KL (Excellence).

Apart from that, Mah Sing has been included in the MSCI Malaysia Small Cap Index effective May 31.

The MSCI Malaysia Index is designed to measure the performance of the large and mid-cap segments of the market.

The award ceremony saw Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming in attendance.

Mah Sing’s top management and staff were also present to celebrate the occasion.

“We are honoured to win five awards at the StarProperty Awards,” said Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum.

“This adds to one of our notable achievements this year, as we celebrate our 30th anniversary.

“Winning all three Readers’ Choice Awards and the Starter Home Award proves that the public recognise us as a trusted developer and are confident about the products that we deliver.

“Also, this is the seventh consecutive year that we have won the All-Stars Award, which serves as recognition to our commitment in building quality developments that are not only affordably priced, but also at strategic locations with good connectivity and accessibility,” said Leong.

M Nova is Mah Sing’s third high-rise residential development in Kepong, following the success of Lakeville Residence and M Luna.

It is a mixed development comprising three blocks of serviced residences with a gross development value of approximately RM790mil.

Located within the matured neighbourhood of Selayang and Kepong, M Nova comes with exclusive facilities and retail lots, including retail drive-through.

Mah Sing property subsidiaries chief executive officer Yeoh Chee Beng said, “M Nova was launched in August 2023.

“Since then, the development received encouraging response from homebuyers with limited units left available for sale.

“This is due to its strategic location, attractive price point and well-designed layouts.

“Other than that, M Nova was especially designed for urban-sized families and provides residents with a comfortable living experience and lush greenery view.

“It upholds our commitment to building sustainable homes to enhance the lifestyle and well- being of our residents as well as the community.

“M Nova has also obtained provisional GreenRE Bronze certification for green buildings.”

Visitors can explore M Nova through its fully furnished show units and scale models displayed at the sales gallery in Taman Wahyu, Kepong.

Mah Sing Group chief executive officer and executive director Datuk Voon Tin Yow said: “Being voted the Most Preferred Developer and Newsmaker of the Year by StarProperty’s readers shows that customers recognise our efforts in creating innovative spaces that enhance the lifestyle of our homebuyers.

“We have been active since 2023, where the group acquired seven plots, namely M Terra and M Hana in Puchong, M Zenya in Kepong, M Azura in Setapak, M Legasi in Semenyih, M Tiara 1 & 2 in Johor Baru, as well as industrial land named MSS Business Park in Sepang.

“The years ahead will be exciting for Mah Sing as we target launching these projects in 2024 and 2025.”

Voon added that the company was honoured to win the Most Heart-Warming CSR Initiative award once again.

“This is testament to our efforts of helping the underprivileged and improving the well-being of the local community through the Mah Sing Foundation (MSF).

“In 2023, MSF disbursed more than RM812,000 which benefitted more than 20 schools and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and positively impacted more than 900 individuals.”

In 2023, Mah Sing achieved RM2.26bil new property sales, surpassing its target of RM2.2bil.

Fuelled by the strong sales performance, Mah Sing has set a higher sales target of RM2.5bil for 2024.
