SOFITEL Kuala Lumpur Damansara is set to celebrate Sofitel’s 60th anniversary in June, blending French zest with heartfelt service culture.
Since its inception in 1964 with the opening of the first hotel in Strasbourg, France, Sofitel has been known to offer French luxury hospitality.
Over the decades, it has seamlessly woven local culture with the French art de vivre (art of living), culminating in this milestone.
The diamond jubilee celebrations at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara will kick off with an extravagant buffet experience for one day only at its restaurant Kwee Zeen, extending to Le Bar.
The spread is curated by chefs Roland Hamidouche, Mohammad Hamizan Hassan and Leong Weng Heng.
Food enthusiasts will have the opportunity to feast on an exquisite buffet selection of signature dishes from Kwee Zeen, Le Bar, Nizza and Wan Chun Ting.
The diverse culinary selection will also offer French gourmet delights, Mediterranean cuisine, all-time local favourite dishes and an opulent dessert corner ensuring a memorable dining experience.
“This celebration is the perfect time to showcase Sofitel’s heartfelt service culture and French zest gastronomy,” said Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara food and beverage director Anne Kasztura.
“This isn’t just any celebration — it’s a celebration of life and joie de vivre,” she added.
Echoing this sentiment, Hamidouche who is the culinary director said, “As a native Frenchman living in Malaysia for over nine years, this is the perfect moment to share the French culinary experience.

The buffet is available on June 23, from 12.30pm to 3pm.
It is priced at RM188+ per person, including a complimentary glass of Lillet Spritz.
