DUMPLING Festival came early at The Star’s Pitt Street office when staff received glutinous rice dumplings stuffed with various fillings, wrapped in bamboo or lotus leaves.
Por Cheng Han, who is the special officer to Tanjong MP Lim Hui Ying, presented the dumplings to Star Media Group senior news editor Alex Teng.
Also known as Duan Wu Jie, the Dumpling or Dragon Boat Festival is observed on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month and falls on June 10.
