New podcast show tackles issues affecting urban folks

LISTEN to the youngest female councillor in Selangor, 24-year-old Kusaaliny Mahendran talk about how she wants to drive progressive policymaking among youths.

She is the first guest of StarMetro’s new fortnightly podcast series “Life & the City”, available in the Metro section of www.thestar.com.my and on social media platforms (@thestaronline).

Life & the City is a podcast where hosts and StarMetro journalists Aida Ahmad and Farid Wahab discuss topics relevant to urban folk.

The conversations are peppered with lighthearted moments, making the struggles and triumphs of city-living relatable and entertaining.

On our debut episode, which drops today on The Star’s website, Kusaaliny also shares her insights on an internship programme at Petaling Jaya City Council.
