Showcase to highlight Taiwan’s sustainable building solutions

TAIWAN Excellence Pavilion will showcase sustainable building products from 11 award-winning brands at the upcoming Architecture, Interior Design, and Building Exhibition (Archidex) 2024 in July.

In a statement, Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) said the pavilion will also hold a sharing session, at the July 4 exhibition to introduce the products.

The sharing session will introduce the revolutionary multi-coloured epaper, air purifiers that combine sterilisation with artistic flair, and green building materials made in Taiwan.

In the afternoon, four Taiwan Excellence award-winning companies will present their solutions for sustainable building.

These include a mobile tank fan from Amatech, prism epaper from E Ink that allows dynamic colour changes on various product surfaces, a smart air purifier from Saubeair, and the stainless steel multifunction closer hinge from Waterson, the statement added.

The session will also feature YC Holdings Inc. chief operating officer Dora Yen, who will discuss achieving low carbon production goals at the lowest cost through strategic planning in interior design and building materials.

Other products that will be showcased include the dock-able roller screen from Hiss Inc, direct current air ventilator from Alaska, the environmentally friendly UV stabiliser from Eversorb, and wireless router with AI technology from D-Link.

Taiwan Excellence Pavillion is jointly established by Taiwan International Trade Administration, an agency under its Economic Affairs Ministry, and Taiwan External Trade Development Council.

It aims to showcase the advantages of Taiwan’s products in sustainability, energy savings, effectiveness, and efficiency.

The booth will be set up at Hall 2 of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre during Archidex 2024.

Under the theme ‘Greener Together’, the pavilion hopes to expand green business opportunities between Taiwan and Malaysia, said TAITRA.
