A WASTE management company and a property developer’s subsidiary have signed an agreement to establish a strategic partnership and promote sustainability at an industrial park in south Selangor.

KDEB Waste Management and NCT Smart Management Sdn Bhd inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to transform waste management at NCT Smart Industrial Park located in Selangor’s Integrated Development Region in South Selangor (IDRISS).

The collaboration encompasses comprehensive waste collection services, enhanced public cleaning and robust recycling programmes.

The implementation of these services will start once the industrial park’s first phase is completed.

This partnership is expected to deliver significant benefits not just for the park itself, but also for the entire Kuala Langat district.

NCT Smart Industrial Park holds the distinction of being Malaysia’s first managed industrial park situated within IDRISS.

The MoU was signed by KDEB Waste Management managing director Datuk Ramli Mohd Tahir and NCT Group executive director Datuk Yap Fook Choy.

Also present were KDEB Waste Management subsidiary management and project delivery general manager Ahadi Mohd Nasir and NCT Group project director Yap Chun Theng.
