Council aims to inspire next generation of Malaysians

THE Council of Federal Datuks of Malaysia (MDPM) unveiled its highly anticipated MDPM Coffee Table Book during its annual general meeting in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Council secretary-general Datuk Alvin Tee Guan Pian said the book, featuring insights into Panglima Jasa Negara (PJN) holders in Malaysia, aimed to inspire the next generation of leaders to pursue success in their careers.

“We also hope to raise between RM50,000 and RM100,000 through the book, for use in other impactful projects,” he added.

A highlight of the event was a sharing session by M&A Equity Holdings Bhd managing director Datuk Bill Tan Choon Peow.

The MDPM vice-president provided insights into Malaysia’s capital market framework.

Among guests at the event were National Heart Institute chairman Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, Council of Dato’ and Datuk Malaysia (MDDM) president Datuk Awalan Abdul Aziz, Star Media Group Bhd chief content officer Datin Paduka Esther Ng, MDPM president Datuk Iskandar Abdul Malik, vice-presidents Datuk Abdul Razak Dawood and Datuk C. Josephine Anne, assistant secretary general Datuk Kenneth Soh Chee Whye, treasurer Datuk Grace Chia Hui Yen and other executive committee members.

Corporate or professional sector PJN holders interested in being featured in the book can benefit from a limited early bird offer which includes a book jacket with portrait photo.
