Travel guides highlight local attractions, small businesses

At KLIA’s Golden Lounge, free travel guides, including those by Bluedale Publishing, are available for Business Suite and Business Class passengers.

FROM Kuala Lumpur’s lively streets to the tranquil beauty of Melaka and beyond, travellers looking for credible information can turn to travel guides by Bluedale Publishing.

These precise information portals are an oasis in a world where online travel information can be overwhelming or unreliable.

Bluedale Publishing guides give detailed information on the many tourist attractions of a diverse country such as Malaysia.

Explorers can choose from an array of guides, like “Melaka The Guide”.

From historical landmarks to shopping districts and cultural experiences, these guides provide insights and recommendations for both locals and visitors.

“We are thrilled to transform the travel experience in Malaysia through our detailed guides,” said Bluedale Publishing executive director Annie Goh.

“Our aim is to link travellers with the essence of Malaysia by providing genuine experiences and showcasing the top attractions of the country.”

In addition to printed copies available at various locations across Malaysia, travellers can also access their digital platforms.

These include Bluedale Publishing’s website, ebook and social media channels.

“Our mobile app was created to give travellers a smooth and enriching travel experience.

“By offering articles, ebooks and interactive features, our app acts as a thorough guide to discovering Malaysia – tailored to the interests and preferences of travellers,” said Goh.

Among others, passengers with layovers at Kuala Lumpur International Airport now have the option to pick up a copy of Bluedale Publishing’s travel guides at Malaysia Airline’s Golden Lounge and KLIA information counter.

These guides are also available at other international airports in Malaysia, including Kota Kinabalu, Senai and Penang.

In addition, travellers can access these guides at embassies, galleries, selected hotels and restaurants as well as the Malaysia Tourism Centre (Matic), universities and foreign embassies.

“Our mission is centred on making travel accessible to all,” said Goh.

“By highlighting small businesses, our goal is to support local entrepreneurs and provide travellers with memorable experiences,” she added.
