31.9% water supply restored as of 3pm, says Air Selangor

AIR Selangor says that 31.9% of the water supply had resumed as of 3 pm on Wednesday (July 24), in a social media post.

The water company said it will continue to mobilise water tankers to critical locations such as hospitals, clinics, dialysis centres, and funeral service centres.

For commercial purposes, treated water supply can be purchased at Air Selangor customer service counters in Sepang or Hulu Langat regions. Commercial customers can use their respective water tankers at the Braemar Estate (Hulu Langat region) and Taman Gemilang Dengkil (Sepang region) water-filling station.

It was earlier reported that water supply recovery in affected areas is expected to reach 40% by 8am on Thursday (July 25) and 90% by 8pm on the same day.

The water cut began on Tuesday (July 23) due to odour pollution affecting Sungai Kundang and Sungai Sembah.

The four water treatment plants impacted are Rantau Panjang, Sungai Selangor Phase 1 (SSP1), Sungai Selangor Phase 2 (SSP2), and Sungai Selangor Phase 3 (SSP3).
