New hotel opens in Kuala Lumpur South

Courtyard by Marriott Kuala Lumpur South features 278 elegantly designed rooms.

COURTYARD by Marriott, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of over 30 extraordinary hotel brands, announced the opening of its latest hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Kuala Lumpur South.

The fourth Courtyard by Marriott property in Malaysia is located on Jalan Puchong, Kuala Lumpur.

This marks the brand’s debut in the greater Kuala Lumpur area, bringing its signature blend of comfort and convenience to both leisure and business travellers.

It is just a 20-minute drive from the city centre, with easy access to major roads and highways.

“We are excited to launch Courtyard by Marriott Kuala Lumpur South in this vibrant and fast developing part of greater Kuala Lumpur, further reinforcing Marriott International’s footprint of hotels and resorts in Malaysia,” said Marriott International Indonesia and Malaysia vice-president Ramesh Jackson.

“We are confident that the hotel will perfectly serve the needs and demands of this urban corridor and appeal to a broad range of modern business and leisure travellers,” he said.

The hotel has direct access to the new Bloomsvale Shopping Gallery, offering guests an appealing mix of retail therapy and dining options, without having to set foot away from the integrated development itself.

Courtyard by Marriott has 278 elegantly designed rooms, ranging from standard and deluxe rooms to one-bedroom suites and a presidential suite.

Recreational facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with a sun deck, a kid’s pool, steam and sauna rooms and a 24-hour fitness centre.

Substance, an all-day dining restaurant, serves a variety of local and international dishes and features an open-concept kitchen with live cooking stations.

The elegant Courtyard Lounge serves premium coffee and tea, as well as a selection of pastries, sandwiches and local snacks.

The mezzanine floor bar, At 137, provides a perfect evening retreat with an intimate ambience.

The hotel also has one of the largest ballrooms in the area, covering 1,864sq m with a capacity of up to 2,100 guests.

“We are thrilled to introduce Courtyard by Marriott, set to redefine the hospitality landscape in Kuala Lumpur South, providing guests with an unparalleled experience of comfort and convenience,” said Courtyard by Marriott Kuala Lumpur South general manager Derrick Felix.
