A special free power flow yoga event was held at one of the country’s most iconic locations – Taman Tugu – in conjunction with Malaysia’s 67th National Day.

Yoga and fitness instructor Kit Lim organised the community event, which allowed participants to connect and have fun.

With almost 15 years experience in the fitness industry, Lim brought together various local health and wellness brands to provide the 50 attendees with an enriching health and community experience.

“Because I teach at different yoga studios, I wanted to bring the participants together to experience some fun too.

“There is no better place than Taman Tugu,” he said at the session.

Lim said he applied a functional approach to the Vinyasa yoga session which is also called flow and the instructions were given in layman’s terms so the attendees would understand easily.

Through this yoga event, Lim hoped to redefine self-care for a healthier lifestyle and mindful nutrition by fostering a sense of community among fellow yoga practicioners in the spirit of unity that celebrates Malaysia’s diversity and fiery spirit.
