WWRC Foundation’s charity golf and dinner brought together golfers, sponsors, donors and stakeholders for a good cause.

The 10th edition raised RM1.5mil in support of deserving organisations, including shelter homes.

The day began with a round of golf at the Kota Permai Golf Club, Shah Alam in Selangor, with players of all skill levels enjoying friendly competition while contributing to a worthy cause.

Following the game, participants gathered for lunch.

In the afternoon, a second session of golfers teed off and despite the heat, spirits remained high.

The highlight was the dinner which featured auctions, a special dance performance by WWRC staff and an awards presentation.

Special guest at the event was Transport Minister Anthony Loke.

Also present was WWRC Group chief executive officer Teoh Weng Chai.

Representatives from the charities were invited to receive mock cheques.

The top golfers in both the Medal A (handicap 0-18) and Medal B (handicap 19-24) categories were honoured, with the top three in each category receiving trophies. A Best Lady Golfer award was also presented.
