Nov night rhythms to know


Kaya will be in the house at Rockafellers PJ on Sunday.

WITH November here and only 60 days to go before we usher in 2025, the nightlife scene is gearing up for great times after dark.

There’ll be bands, duos and soloists belting out everything from rock to jazz.

Klang Valley’s talented musicians will be getting into their groove on stage once again, with something for almost every musical taste.

Dua KL is a live music venue that brings out a great selection of musicians for great times after dark.

Tonight, join the legendary Os Pombos as they serve up a dose of country, with a little bit of everything thrown in, from 9pm onwards.

Tomorrow night, retro fans are in for a treat when The Union takes the stage.

If it isn’t from the 1980s, don’t expect it to be on their playlist. So this is the perfect night for fans of that era.

Fresh from celebrating its first anniversary, Rockafellers PJ continues to turn up the heat.

This Sunday, the outlet’s One Night Only sessions present the acclaimed Kaya.

On Monday, Sapphire sets the stage on fire, while on Tuesday, Nina & Friends will be in the house.

On Wednesdays, Muzza joins the Velvettones on stage.

A great chill-out spot in TTDI’s commercial zone, Loco is a laid-back outlet where the music starts early for those looking to beat Klang Valley’s after-work traffic snarls.

Enjoy live music from 6.30pm onwards, four nights during the work week.

On Mondays, Sally and Kay take the stage, while Tuesday evenings see the veteran duo of Arab and Bada take on classic covers and more.

On Wednesdays, Chili and Kyra are in the house, and Ben and Mashi wrap up the week every Thursday night.

On Sunday, troubadour Tam entertains.

ROCK BOTTOM BANGSAR

In Bangsar’s Telawi hub, Rock Bottom Bangsar is a great place to kick back after a long day at work, or for football fans to catch the best of live matches.

There’s also plenty of music action.

Every Friday, take a trip back to the 1980s with The Union rocking the stage.

On Sunday nights, the Lighthouse trio of Gerard Singh, Vijay David and Raymond Chia entertain with a mix of retro tunes.

Tomorrow night, it’s going to be a twist as Merdekarya hosts “I Know What You Did Last Halloween”, a femme and fate live role-playing game show.

Pre-sale tickets are priced at RM35 while tickets bought at the door will cost RM40.

On Thursday, singer-songwriter Jes Ebrahim will be in the house while dad rock gets an outing next Friday with Merchants of Mercury on stage.

Folk and blues fans are in for a treat come Nov 15 as Karen Nunis joins the Namahages on stage.
