THE reopening of a restaurant is the perfect opportunity for a menu revamp.

Toh Yuen, Hilton Petaling Jaya’s celebrated Chinese restaurant, has recently undergone renovations.

Its stunning new design harmoniously blends traditional charm with modern elegance.

The transformation not only enhances the restaurant’s ambiance but also sets the stage for an exciting, refreshed menu.

The Roasted Peking Silver Hill London Duck is nothing short of a culinary celebration.

Priced at RM168nett for half and RM268nett for a whole bird, this luxurious dish is a must-try.

The duck is roasted to perfection, showcasing tender, succulent meat enveloped in a beautifully crispy skin that crackles lightly with each bite.

The service is an experience in itself as the duck is carved tableside, then served alongside delicate pancakes, cucumber slices and spring onion for diners to create their own flavourful wraps.

Rich hoisin sauce drizzled over the filling adds a sweet and savoury contrast.

For those looking to elevate their dining experience, there is the option to select the cooking method for the bird.

Choose from options like braised shredded duck with Ee Fu noodle, fried rice with preserved olive and diced duck, or wok-fried duck with trio of peppercorn.

Each choice allows the rich essence of the duck to shine through in new and exciting ways, ensuring that your meal is not only luxurious but also versatile.

There is also the Dim Sum lunch set menu at RM99nett per person.

The experience begins with a Dim Sum Trio Combination Platter that is nothing short of exquisite.

It comprises Steamed Premium Siew Mai adorned with luscious crab roe, delicate Steamed Scallop and Spinach Dumpling bursting with fresh flavours, and rich Baked Chicken Tart Topped with Abalone, all beautifully presented.

The meal progresses with a comforting braised crab meat broth served in a cute mini pumpkin, providing a warm, hearty lead-in to the next courses.

An indulgent dish is the braised spinach beancurd with assorted mushrooms, where the silky texture of the beancurd complements the earthy mushrooms, creating a pleasing blend of tastes.

Fried rice with assorted seafood and truffle elevates the palate with its fragrant aroma and luxurious notes.

For dessert, the Steamed Matcha Bun with Salted Egg Yolk Lava offers a delightful contrast of flavours, while the Double-Boiled Red Date Soup with Longan and Peach Raisin provides a sweet, comforting finish.

Among a la carte options, sweet and sour diced chicken with figs pairs tender chicken with a fig sauce, while the Stir-Fried Wagyu Beef with Porcini Mushrooms and Trio of Peppercorn is an opulent dish that balances rich flavours.

Another standout entry is the golden butter prawns with cashew nuts, featuring succulent prawns in a creamy butter sauce.
