Over 1,000 show support for charity bazaar at KL mall


A stall selling pre-loved books at the charity bazaar held at Avenue K in Kuala Lumpur.

THE three-day “Blast from the Past” Charity Bazaar organised by a bookstore and Kiwanis Club of Taman Tun Dr Ismail ended with success.

The event held at Avenue K in Kuala Lumpur brought together over 1,000 visitors for a vibrant celebration of community spirit, in support of a charitable cause.

The bazaar, designed as a fun and nostalgic experience, featured 30 booths offering an array of pre-loved books from Books For A Better World, clothes, toys, handmade crafts, organic produce, sarees, food and beverage options, and even a petting zoo.

The event captured the hearts of attendees who came to show their support for a good cause.

Funds raised will be channelled to the Kiwanis Club of Taman Tun Dr Ismail.

A significant portion of the proceeds will be dedicated to the club’s Christmas project, which aims to spread joy to underprivileged children, by ensuring they each receive a holiday gift.

Thanks to the success of the charity bazaar, the club will be able to extend its outreach and impact initiative.

The bazaar was made possible with the support of Avenue K, Nature Farm, Skywave and Party Kingdom.
