Festive favourites for year-end feasts


The Pan-Seared Ocean Trout with Topinambur Cream is among the offerings at Marini’s on 57 for New Year’s Eve dinner.

WHETHER catching up with loved ones or hosting a party, The Marini’s Group has memorable holiday dining options for guests celebrating in Kuala Lumpur.

The Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner at Marini’s on 57 restaurant offers a journey of flavours.

The first course is silky Scrambled Eggs with Parmesan cheese foam and black truffles, followed by Prawn and Crab Cannolo with avocado cream, pomegranate jelly, salmon roe and herring roe.

For the entree, choose from three options — Baked Cod Fish with Crispy Potato Pave, Rolled Turkey with Mixed Mushrooms Stuffing or Braised Beef Cheek with Celeriac Puree, apricots and dried figs in butter and thyme.

For New Year’s Eve, its seven-course meal begins with a selection of bites, including fresh Gallagher Oyster and Pan-seared Foie Gras on a toasted brioche.

Other dishes include Lobster Tail Risotto with lobster bisque and foam, followed by a choice of Wagyu Tenderloin Score 9 with Black Truffle Sauce or Pan-Seared Ocean Trout with Topinambur Cream.

The Marini’s on 57 Christmas Eve and Christmas Day set dinner menu is priced at RM680++ per person (non-window seating) and RM780++ per person (window seating).

The New Year’s Eve dinner menu is priced at RM1,180++ per person (non-window seating) and RM1,280++per person (window seating).

Mesa on 51’s Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner is a five-course meal that begins with a duo of Cod Fish Mousse Taco with trout roe and lemon jelly and Duck Confit Croquette with foie gras and berry sauce.

Dinner continues with tapas and paella for sharing, followed by a choice of protein for the main course.

Its New Year’s Eve menu offers a choice of Filete Trufado, a Grilled Wagyu Tenderloin Score 7 with potato puree and truffle boletus jus or Bacalao with parsley pil-pil sauce, roasted capsicum, black garlic and shiitake glaze for the main course.

Mesa on 51’s Christmas Eve and Christmas Day set is priced at RM680++ per person, while its New Year’s Eve 2024 menu is at RM1,180++ per person.

Marble 8 restaurant’s festive menu highlights hearty meats, while M Marini Grand Caffe and Terrazza and Maristar offer festive sharing platters and delectable desserts.
