Special guests at the Christmas celebration in Seremban.

A SUMPTUOUS Christmas spread was prepared for the Orang Asli community of Kampung Sebir, a village located in Labu on the outskirts of Seremban, Negri Sembilan.

Held at the d’Tempat Country Club in Bandar Sri Sendayan, the event also treat children from underprivileged families.

The youngsters included children who are part of the community of Seremban’s Church of Visitation, and special children from SJK(C) San Min.

Their parents and teachers as well as representatives from local churches were guests at the event organised by property developer Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd.

Matrix Concepts property development division co-chief executive officer Tan Sze Chee said the celebration focused on spreading joy among the underprivileged groups.

“Christmas is a season of giving and togetherness.

“Tonight’s event reflects our commitment to uplift communities we are a part of.

“We are honoured to celebrate this occasion with such a diverse and vibrant community whose enthusiasm reflects the essence of the holiday season,” she said.

The meaningful connections, Tan added, exemplified the company’s dedication to fostering inclusivity and community togetherness.

Themed the “Wild West Christmas”, the event began with the arrival of guests who were greeted by Christmas-themed games and workshops.

The programme continued with carols by members of the Orang Asli community whose heartfelt singing added a unique touch to the celebration.

There was also an entertaining clown show and heartwarming moments when gifts were presented to the children, leaving smiles on every face.

The Church of Visitation, Bandar Sri Sendayan Chinese Methodist Church and SJK(C) San Min also received a donation of RM3,000 each from Matrix Concepts.

In a statement, the company said this year’s event extended into a month-long Wild West Christmas celebration at the club.

“Visitors will be transported into a cowboy-themed wonderland, complete with rustic decorations, sparkling lights, and a series of exciting performances and activities for families.

“Highlights include live snow shows, a Christmas market featuring iconic brands such as Krispy Kreme and Mixue, themed workshops, pony photo sessions on Sundays, and a dazzling fireworks finale,” it said.
