Elegantly arranged in nine grids, the visually stunning afternoon tea set features an assortment of Chinese teatime treats curated by hotel executive Chinese chef Linus Mak.

Savoury delights include Steamed Homemade Crab Meat Ball with Smokey BBQ Sauce, Charcoal Baby Abalone Chicken Dumpling, Breaded Prawn Fritters with Truffle Cereal and Marinated Scallop Lips with Sichuan Mala Pepper and Aged Vinegar.

For sweet treats, Signature Warm Yam Cake, Glutinous Rice Ball with Fragrant Spicy Ginger Tea, Almond Beancurd with Strawberry Puree and Fresh Fruits, Red Bean Banana Kataifi and Fried Housemade Nian Gao await.

Each afternoon tea set, priced at RM168nett for two persons, is served with flower tea.

The promotion is available until Feb 28, from 1pm to 5pm.

In addition, Mak has reimagined the classic yee sang with a twist that is pleasing to the palate.

Instead of the traditional plum sauce, Mak uses a special pineapple dressing that balances sweetness and tanginess.

This vibrant platter features a refreshing mix of shredded fresh fruits and vegetables, such as mango, jackfruit and rose apple, along with a choice of toppings like raw salmon slices, crispy fish skin or whole abalone.

Available for dine-in and takeaway, the yee sang is priced from RM98nett for half portion and from RM138nett for full portion.

The hotel also has two eight-course menus.

The Auspicious Set Menu is priced at RM2,588+ and Prosperous Set Menu at RM2,388+, each for a table of 10 diners.

A minimum booking of three tables is required. For reservations, call 03-2771 3351.
