Celebrate the Year of the Wood Snake with an array of dining experiences featuring all-time classics and contemporary twists.
Quan’s Kitchen, the all-day dining restaurant at Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown is serving “Flavours of Fortune” buffet from Jan 13 to 30.
Highlights include Marinated Jellyfish Salad, Wok-Fried Buttermilk Crab with Deep-Fried Mantou and Roasted Duck with Egg Crepe, which is a creative twist on the Peking Duck dish.
There is also Mongolian Roasted Lamb Leg besides a DIY Fruity Yee Sang station for a personalised prosperity toss.
The buffet is available for dinner from Jan 13 to Jan 27, except on Sundays, priced at RM168+ per person and on Jan 28 at RM188+ per person.
A similar buffet is served for lunch on Jan 19, 26, 29 and 30 at RM168+ per person.
Meanwhile, Lady Yi’s Tea House presents an Auspicious Peranakan Afternoon Tea until Feb 12, from 12.30pm to 3pm.
It offers a curated selection of sweet and savoury Peranakan-inspired treats, each infused with elements and silhouettes that are reminiscent of the flavours and traditions of the season.
Highlights include Mandarin Macaron filled with tangy orange buttercream and Candied Haws featuring vanilla sponge glazed with berries jelly and filled with yogurt mousse, crafted to resemble Chinese candied fruits called tanghulu.
The afternoon tea is priced at RM98+ per set for one person and RM168+ per set for two.
The hotel’s Prosperity Yee Sang is available for takeaway, priced from RM98+ for half portion and from RM158+ for full portion.
Fruity Prosperity Yee Sang features dragon fruit, grapes and sun melon, Duo Skin Prosperity Yee Sang includes deep-fried fish skin and chicken skin as toppings while Golden Prosperity Yee Sang offers a more luxurious option with fresh slices of raw salmon.
The yee sang is available from Jan 13 to Feb 12, with a pre-order 48 hours beforehand.
