MALAYSIAN business-to-business (B2B) travel company Ice Holidays has reached an unprecedented milestone in 2024, marking its most successful year since its establishment 34 years ago.

The company recorded an annual revenue of nearly RM600mil, reflecting a 35% growth compared to 2023.

To commemorate this success, the Golden Destinations “GD 2025 Spring Dinner” was held in grand style in Kuala Lumpur, bringing together key representatives from tourism boards, airlines, major media outlets and the travel company’s partners nationwide.

Adding to the glamour of the evening were GD Ambassadors – Malaysian entertainment hosts Jack Lim, Jason Yeoh and Owen Yap – alongside GD Travel Companions (GD Friends), including Dr Soo Wincci, Angeline Ooi as well as content creators CJ Lee and Black Cat.

Speaking at the event, Ice Holidays managing director Mita Lim said: “By deeply understanding market demands and travel trends, GD continuously innovates to provide every customer with a unique travel experience.

“Year 2025 will also be a crucial year for GD’s regional expansion, with Singapore as our first destination.”

The evening also featured the grand prize draw for “Travel & Win 5.0”, where winners were awarded exclusive travel rewards.

The celebrations continued the following day with the GD Awards Luncheon where the company honoured the support of its partners across Malaysia.

Lim also presented 189 awards, including the prestigious Platinum and Gold Awards, to outstanding partners who had demonstrated exceptional performance and contributions.

During the event, Lim announced the company’s expansion plans, including officially obtaining a travel licence in Singapore – introducing its successful B2B business model to a new market – and establishing a new branch in Sabah.

As the company continues its growth, GD remains its flagship brand, offering a diverse range of premium travel experiences, including GD Series Tours, GD Flight, GD World Cruises & GD FlyCruise, GD InDepth Tours and The Signature Tour – featuring the motto “S-Class Journeys, Signature Experiences”, elevating the travel experience for customers.

In 2025, GD Ambassadors will lead travellers to breathtaking destinations, including Lim to Switzerland, Yap – Harbin & Hulunbuir, China, and Yeoh – Busan, South Korea and Taiwan.

GD Friends will guide travellers to unique cultural and culinary experiences in Perth, Australia, as well as Guangdong, Xi’an, Chongqing in China and beyond.

Ice Holidays also introduced an upgraded GD Travel Safe Insurance, providing travel protection with overseas medical coverage of up to RM600,000.
