The Malaysian female team for the pattern category won the gold medal.
Malaysian taekwondo exponents won 48 medals, including 11 gold, at the 2017 South Korea Open International Festival and Asia Taekwondo Championship in South Korea.
Led by Perak Taekwondo Association president and chief instructor Khoo Bu Leong, the 30-member team also picked up 20 silver and 17 bronze medals.
