IT IS good that Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is preparing its draft KL Structure Plan (KLSP) 2040 at the same time as the Malaysian Population and Housing Census 2020.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin stressed the importance of Census 2020 as it would serve as a reference for national development planning – the information gathered would help formulate and implement government policies and in the process, help shape the lives of future generations.
