Sick of open burning near homes in Taman Klang Jaya

As residents of Taman Klang Jaya in Klang, Selangor, we are worried about the open burning taking place near our homes.

There has been encroachment into the buffer zone created by the developer by factories and illegal farmers who cut down trees.

Open burning here is daily and the residents can’t tolerate it anymore.

Our concerns are not being addressed by the authorities.

All efforts must be made to preserve the buffer zone.

The open burning is a health hazard to residents.

Burning sometimes takes place late in the night and in the wee hours of the morning when residents are fast asleep.

Needless to say, long-time inhalation of toxic fumes may lead to lung cancer and other diseases.
