Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) should take heed of complaints about the worsening conditions in Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh.
The carpark and market areas are riddled with potholes.
Despite complaints conveyed through the Public Complaints Management System (Sispaa), nothing has been done.
The areas around the football field and the outdoor gym are littered with rubbish.
There are too few workers for such a large village and this explains the lack of cleanliness.
MBSA needs to allocate more funds for the development and maintenance of the village, which has the largest SME sector in Selangor.
A lot of signboards have become faded and need to be replaced.
A large number of streetlights in the Megamas commercial are faulty.
MBSA needs to instal more streetlights around the market and also repair faulty ones around the public hall, carpark and Jalan Perkhidmatan.
MBSA and Petaling Public Works Department (JKR) need to solve the traffic jam due to the narrow Jalan Welfare, which is the only access road.
The option of reopening the Jalan Baru junction should be considered or else a flyover needs to be built.
