State polls: Cops announce road closures in PJ for Nomination Day


PETALING JAYA: Several roads here will be closed for Nomination Day.

In a statement on Wednesday (July 26), the Petaling Jaya police announced that road closures would begin on July 29 at 5am, and last until 1.30pm.

The closures were to accommodate the Nomination Day process at Dewan Sivik MBPJ and Dewan Komuniti BU 11.

The roads listed that would be closed were; Jalan Yong Shook Lin, Jalan 52/18 and two lanes in Jalan Lebuh Bandar Utama.

"Closures in Jalan Yong Shook Lin will consist of the area in front of IJM until Menara Choy Fook Onn. Jalan 52/18 closures will be from the Texas Chicken (restaurant) until Restoran Ajmeer," the statement said.
