PETALING JAYA: The pace of recovery in Malaysia’s inbound tourism is accelerating amid continued growth in the number of foreign tourist arrivals.

Tourism ground to a halt after the country shut its borders in March 2020 following the Covid-19 pandemic, with arrivals plunging from 26.1 million in 2019 to 4.3 million in 2020.
